Korean Style Sandwich with Otah – [Sponsored Post] Experimented with the “Isaac Toast”-style breakfast sandwich with the new ready-to-cook Mackeral Fillet Muar Otah from newmoonsg and this was a good call! (Otah is an Southeast Asian grilled fish cake made of ground fish meat mixed with tapioca starch and spices). The spicyness of the Otah acts as the perfect balance for the (sometimes overly) sweet sauce of this style of sandwich. The softness of the Otah also mimics the fluffiness of the egg which I am all for. I loved that the toasted otah has a naturally smokey flavour (even though no banana leaves were used) and tastes as good as most sold outside. Check out my Instagram story for more ideas on how to “spice” (pun intended) up your meals with the Otah 😝.
New Moon’s latest Mackeral Otah product comes in packs of two square-shaped singles and goes straight from freezer to table in less than 10 minutes, no thawing needed! It’s made from real mackeral fish, and free of trans-fat or additional preservatives, which makes it cleaner than most processed meat products. The product is now available at most major supermarkets, with ongoing promos in Giant and Sheng Siong. Head on over to their profile to find out more! Many thanks to newmoonsg for the samples.
